The strength of ILG is represented by production cycles governed by a self-managed central information system. The planning of the activities is then made accessible to the individual operator who finds all the information already defined and available at the terminal of his own machine.
Parallel to the production cycle (specific for each item), ILG develops a control plan with the dual purpose of identifying the needs for monitoring production (for compliance with the requirements of the specifications) and providing the operator with the registration tool data collected during processing, thus allowing the collection for subsequent qualitative and statistical processing.
The widespread support of the information system in the management of production allows ILG to collect all the data necessary for the assessment of its quality capabilities. Statistical analysis, capability studies, forecasting data processing are daily activities that allow weighted, effective and rapid choices.
Investments in innovation are a ‘must’ for ILG, constantly evolving in terms of production systems: from the crust hides storage system to the automatic management of dyeing and finishing recipes, to vacuum and air-air drying systems, computerized control of the atmosphere, electronic waterjet cutting plant.
Thanks to the control of the entire production chain, ILG has interconnected the production of all its plants, thus being able to trace the path taken and the processes undergone by every single hide.
The synchronization of the processing volumes, even at a distance of thousands of kilometers, ensures their quick adjustment (along the whole chain) as market conditions change.

Specific teams are dedicated to sales, post-sales assistance and logistics, while other ILG designers and technicians deal exclusively with product design and development.
Pre Delivery Installation
The ability of Italian Leather Group to produce valuable leather for the automotive branch also extends to the market of Pre Delivery Installation projects for some of the most famous German and Japanese car manufacturers. Before the delivery of the new vehicles, the interiors are carefully assembled and customized by specialized companies that fit our particular type of leather, able to meet specifications of the highest strength and durability. The most significant projects are developed in China, India and other areas of Southeast Asia as well as in Europe.
